Hurricane Michael




I have been inspired to start blogging again.  

I lost interest right before Hurricane Michael, but now I think the time is right to continue.  It will be an ever-changing work in progress and I have decided to expand my focus from just local music, to my life in general.

I humbly ask the reader to be patient with this process.  I would like to say that I am fully recovered after the Category 5 storm that massively changed my life, but, as always, some scars will remain after healing.

Music is still a huge part of my life, and I consider myself extremely fortunate to be able to play, while still being aware of how much I still have to learn.

Give the video below a viewing for the whole story, and know how grateful I am for my wife.  She is everything that I am not.

I will remember you, your silhouette will charge the view, of distance.......atmosphere.....-Yes I am fairly active on social media and I have joined many groups on facebook.  One of these is called "Music of the Florida Panhandle" which seemed like a nice bunch of folks in the local music scene.  It was apparently started as a forum for drummers, but administrator duties had been handed to a bass player named Ken.  He explained that he had been fairly busy lately organizing "Battle of the Bands" type events and had recently become ill.  He asked in the forum if anyone would be interested in being made an admin of the group.  Myself and another bass player named Tom both volunteered.  Why must it ALWAYS be the bass players?  I received friend requests from both of them and accepted. You need a change... When you make that change... Don't look to see... I'm alright- Seal Let's start the week with some free thinking interaction! I shouldn't have come! I was supposed to die back there, but I didn't. It would have affected time. Don't worry.... ...that I'm not like anyone else. I love to make nonsense lyrics to instrumental music.
